Fossil finally returned to its birthplace
One scientist said, when he first saw the dinosaur fossil lab at Harvard University, "my eyes are going to burst, obviously, this is a unique species." Wrapped in fossil rocks retained this dinosaur species like: that short like a parrot mouth, an inch or so of the jaws, sharp teeth and not more than 2 inches in length of the skull, the length of the body not more than 2 feet, weight and a domestic cat almost. Fossil finally returned to its birthplace, Cape Town is located in the South African Museum, there is still a piece of fossil unexplored. The scientists found that the parrot shape mouth is a pair of sharp fangs and long rows of teeth, believe to be chewed plant, these teeth arranged up and down like a frame scissors. For herbivorous dinosaurs, huge sharp canine teeth is rare, so there are scientists speculate that this dinosaur may eat a little meat, or some insects. However, scientists at the University of Chicago, believes that the sharp teeth is to protect themselves, not to eat meat. Anatomical structure of Heterodontosaurus has critical significance for the study of the evolution of species. Scientists speculate that this dinosaur body may cover the bristles, similar to the porcupine. "Heterodontosaurus life probably in the bounce of the search for suitable eat plants and fruit, looks like very agile, two legs of the porcupine."
